Description |
Two story rectangular footprint with the short side and ridge parallel to
the street. The Dutch Colonial style dresses up a very basic building
shape by extending the side rake board overhangs down at a steeper angle
across the side facades to create a faux shed dormer on the front. The
steep rakes transition to a shallower full width shed front porch with
two unequal bays, a narrow one aligned with the front door. The porch
posts and railings have been replaced with light wood framing. A paired
nine over one replacement window occupies the other side of the first
floor front facade. There are two equally spaced similar windows above
with a stuccoed chimney at the transition point between the shallow and
steep rakes of the gable end. The south facade has a series of stacked
window openings on the gable center line with an additional pair of full
size windows on the left side of center and two small square windows on
the right side. There is a partially enclosed rear porch with the same
roof line as the front porch. The exterior walls are a combination of
stucco and aluminum siding. |
