Description |
The house is located in the western half of a row of four Bungalows on the
north side of Birch Avenue. Key features of the house include its
asymmetrical gable and its dormer.
The end-gabled roof is clad with asphalt shingles; it has a longer south
slope. A small brick chimney is centered on the ridge, located over a shed
dormer with two 1x1 double hung sash windows. The walls of the house are
frame, clad with aluminum. Windows are replacement 1x1 units. The incised
front porch has been enclosed; it contains a door flanked by 1x1 windows.
The house has a concrete foundation. |

History |
The row of Bungalows (originally five) was constructed c. 1920. Historic
maps indicate that the property was vacant as late as 1918. The first
indication of the house is the historic aerial of 1940, which shows the row
in place. |
