Setting

Description

This is a frame, 2-story, vinyl-clad, vernacular house with an asphalt- shingled, front-end gabled roof. It is now oriented east towards Race Street. A 1-story addition with low-pitched gable roof is attached to what may have been the front façade facing Birch. A tall brick chimney is on the SE corner. The house has a large foot print but otherwise it is lighted adorned. The main (east ) façade has two 6x6 sash windows (possibly old or original) with faux shutters near NE and SE corners. On 1st level the main door is near SE corner of core and aligned with window above. There is a center window and a window near NE corner also aligned wit window above. The door is protected by a shed roof which is an extension of the 1-story addition attached to the south façade at SE corner. Main feature of south façade is the one story extension, plus two windows at the 2nd level (6x6). The north façade has two 6x6 windows at both levels, aligned.
