DESCRIPTION

Setting

Description

The property contains a 2.5-story, 2-bay American Foursquare house. Its pyramidal roof is clad with asphalt shingles and features a small brick chimney centered on the roof; the eaves are wood. A hipped roof dormer is located on the north slope of the roof; it has aluminum walls and a replacement 1x1 double hung sash window. The house's frame walls are stuccoed. Fenestration consists of replacement 1x1 windows with prominent lintels and sills; those on the north elevation feature inoperable 2- paneled shutters. Windows are arranged in two bays on each elevation. The main elevation features an original door in the east bay with three inset lights above the lock rail and a paired window unit in the west bay. The door is a replacement unit with four frieze lights over four panels (in production 1935-1972); it opens below a braced hood onto a set of concrete steps with an iron railing. Originally, the house had a hipped roof front porch. The house has a stucco over concrete foundation. On the rear of the house is a small addition with a shed roof and stuccoed walls.
