DESCRIPTION

Setting

Description

This vernacular house is a frame, 2.5-story, vinyl-clad structure with an end-gabled, asphalt-clad roof and a 2-story shed roofed rear addition. Rectangular core features a large, 2-windowed, gabled dormer, centered on the main (north) elevation. At 2nd level there are two sets of paired, long windows. All windows on house are 1x1 sash replacements and feature thick s thick surrounds. At 1st level, the main door is at NE corner; a paired window window unit is centered. Hipped roofed porch is supported by 4 squared posts sitting on wood deck supported by masonry piers; squared balustrade. New woo New wooden steps are centered to grade. Immediately west of steps are cement steps with metal railing reaching a front basement entrance. Only east façade could be examined: a 1-story extension of the rear add addition juts out 2-feet from elevation.
