Description |
This property contains a small, 2-story, frame, aluminum-clad house with
an end gabled, asphalt-shingled roof. Eaves are aluminum clad. The main
feature is its partially incised porch with pent type roof. Main (north)
façade features 2 paired 6x1 sash window units with thick surround (all
windows are replacements on house) with inoperable shutters and thick
surrounds. First floor openings are recessed. They feature a paired unit
near NW corner aligned with unit above, and a cottage door near NE corner
(possibly original) with six inset lights over two vertical panels. The
6-light door may be original. Porch pent roof returns on both ends and is
supported by 4 square posts with simple railing and balustrade. Posts
rest on masonry piers with lattice in between. Wooden steps with railing
opposite door lead to grade. Foundation is cement. East end has 1x1
windows at both levels aligned near SE corner. West façade could not be
observed. |
