Description |
Right or east unit(s) of large multi-unit town-house type apartment
building facing north onto Leigh. The frame, 2-story, 8-bay, Greek-
Revival style, vinyl-clad, 4-unit building is in fine condition. Its 6x1
sash windows may be original. Its roof is flat but a slight hipped
element (clad with asphalt shingles) runs its north, east and west sides
creating an eave. A full length shed roofed front porch is supported by
Tuscan columns that rest on the wooden porch floor. There is a central
masonry stair serving the two interior units and brick steps with iron
railings at the two ends of the building (for exterior units).
Fenestration is symmetrical across the 2nd floor with each of the 4 units
having 2 6x1 window each. Each unit here has a paired 6x1 window unit and
door (appear to be original multi-pane glazed doors). The west end has a
pair of small windows on the first floor. The foundation is cement. |
