Description |
This large vinyl clad two story gabled twin is basically a square
footprint, being rather broad compared to its depth. The street facing
gable has an oversize one over one replacement window with vinyl shutters
above two smaller similar units. Windows similar to the gable end unit
are aligned at the first floor with the twin entry doors at the center,
on axis with a broad flight of steps. The door surround consists of
Corinthian pilasters with fluted columns and an entablature with original
pressed wood garland details. The full width shallow hip roof porch is
divided into four equal bays by turned wood posts with railings also
having turned spindles. The east and west elevations have three windows
at each level, aligned and in the same small over large arrangement as
the front. There are small chimneys in the center of each elevation just
inboard of the exterior wall. |
