Description

This property contains a 2-story, 4-bay multi-family house facing east onto Witherspoon Street. The end gabled roof is clad with asphalt shingles and features a small stuccoed chimney at each end of the ridge. The house has a minimal eave and rake on the end walls. Its frame walls are clad with vinyl siding. Fenestration consists of a mixture of historic 2x2 double hung sash units and replacement 1x1 units. The main (east) elevation features four bays on the first and second floors, with no wall openings aligned vertically. An early 20th century hipped porch spans the main elevation; its asphalt shingled roof is supported by five turned posts connected by a tin railing. Doors leading into the interior units are located in the two center bays, flanked by paired windows. A set of five concrete steps leads down to a walk to the main sidewalk. The end walls feature few windows and no doors. The rear addition is a 2- story section that includes a 1- story wing reaching south. The addition has the same cladding materials as the core.

Associated with the house is a stone wall that lines the south side of Lytle Street.
