Description |
The three bay, two story, vinyl clad "L" shaped residence has its main
ridge line parallel to the street The three one over one replacement
windows are aligned with the openings below, including the front door on
the right side. The full width hip roofed porch has been enclosed with
screens on paneled knee walls and transom sash above. The west elevation is
the continuation of the ell, and has a single window at each level just
past the gable end. The ell terminates with a small one story shed roof
enclosed porch. There is an irregular arrangement of windows on the west
side of the ell, and none except two small basement openings on the east
gable end. |

History |
The house was constructed c. 1920. Historic maps show a vacant lot in this
location as late as the Sanborn atlas of 1918. The house appears on the
Franklin Survey atlas of 1930 and all later aerials. |
