Buildings here are 2-story, end gabled buildings in laid out in various positions on lots along Clay Street. Asphalt shingled roofs, machine shingled siding on upper floors, and brick on 1st levels and gable ends. Apartment entrances under simple flat roof porches. History

The Hageman Homes date to 1953. The earlier houses on Clay Street were demolished in 1952, at which time the eastern terminus of the road was shifted to the south in preparation for the construction of the Hageman Homes.
