Description |
This property contains a small vernacular, stucco-clad frame house with a
2-story core with an end-gabled, asphalt-shingled roof, and a 2-story,
shed-roofed early rear extension doubling the size of the core. The
cornice is quite thick for the small size of the building. A stucco- clad
chimney runs up the east side of the core, and through the roof crest.
The main or south façade is 3-bay wide. There are two 1x1 replacement
windows at the second level (slightly off center). The first floor has a
door with a a rare curved transom near the SW corner, and two additional
windows. A front porch runs the length of the house. It has a hipped roof
and is enclosed with large windows above the knew wall. The east side of
the house has a paired and a single window unit on the 2nd floor which is
aligned with identical windows units on the 1st level, all on the rear
addition. The west side has a single window on the rear extension at the
2nd level. On the first level there is a single window on the core near
the southwest corner, and a paired and single window on the extension.
