This property contains a two-story, three-bay vernacular house with a
large two- story, shed-roofed rear addition and a small one-story far
rear addition. The core is a small, two-story, frame, two-to-three bay
house with an end gabled, asphalt-shingled roof. The walls of the core
and additions are clad in machine shingles. One the main (south) façade
are two 1x1 replacement windows with faux shutters slightly off-center
towards the west. (All windows are replacements.) On the first floor, two
similar windows are aligned with those above, and the main entrance is at
the SE corner. The doors was installed in the late 1960s and is a three-
panel Leader door. A full-length front
porch is protected by a hipped-roof supported by three metal posts. The
porch is concrete just 2 steps above grade. Cement steps lead to a walk
that in turn leads to the sidewalk. Fenestration on the east side: a
single window 1st floor of core near SE corner, a single window on 2nd
level of rear addition, and single windows on the 1st floor. There is
also a door on he far rear addition. On the west addition, there are two
windows aligned on the rear addition. The foundation is concrete. |
