Description |
Two story three bay foursquare residence with a pyramidal hip roof. The
street facade is three bays with one over one windows and a double entrance
door with transom. The full width flat roofed porch has replacement metal
supports. The east elevation has a first floor bay window towards the front
and two windows above. The west elevation has four window openings with the
first floor right hand being a double unit. The building is on a slightly
raised masonry foundation with basement windows aligned with the openings
above. There is a narrow gable roofed two story wing off the the rear. |

History |
The house was constructed c. 1870. The historic map of 1852 shows a vacant
lot in this location. The house appears on the map of 1875 and on all
subsequent maps and atlases. |
